This pretty traditional end of terrace cottage in the centre of the seaside village of Portscatho, is situated, as its name implies, opposite the head of the slipway to the small picturesque fishing harbour and adjacent beach. The village has a general store, butchers, café, pub, PO and galleries, all within a short walk from the house as is the lovely NT coast path. The cottage is set back from the road, with a low wall and paved patio garden where a table and chairs give the opportunity to relax and watch the world go by or just take in the fantastic view across the bay to Nare Head and Gull Rock.A perfect summer cottage and a cosy winter retreat.

Entrance Porch with room for coats and boots. Glazed door to Sitting Room overlooking the front garden and beyond over the sea has two sofas, stone fireplace with multi-fuel stove, side tables and butterfly dining table with chairs. Tv/Dvd. iPod docking station. Wi-Fi. An arched doorway leads to the base of the stairs and into the kitchen. The compact L shaped Kitchen with a slate floor, has plenty of storage cupboards, electric oven with ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and washing machine. Between the kitchen and sitting room, the carpeted stairs lead up to the Bedroom which being at the front of the house has lovely sea views. Here, there is a double bed with bedside table, a roomy built in wardrobe, two bedroom chair. The new Bathroom to the rear on the first floor, has a sloping ceiling, bath, walk in shower, WC, Wash hand basin, and heated towel rail. Garden Front paved garden with flower bed borders and breathtaking sea views over Gerrans Bay. Heating under floor heating and Night store heating included in the rent. Linen and towels are provided and included in the rent.Parking You may park nearby to unload but then need to park in the village car park.
