The separate dining-room with an oil-fired Rayburn (available from October to March) is a great place to gather the family. There’s also a stone-floored, Shaker-style kitchen, a useful utility-room with space for wetsuits, buckets and spades, and a separate cloakroom. Outside, steep steps lead up to a deck with views over the rooftops to the boats out on the water (take care with children on the steep steps and deck). Enjoy a glass of wine in the evening as the sun sets and lights sparkle on the water. Inside, cottage stairs lead up to the bedrooms where the en suite master bedroom has a peek of the sea. The second bedroom has a high vaulted ceiling and the twin and single bedrooms face the front with more sea glimpses. White linens and soft down duvets and pillows ensure ultimate comfort. The family bathroom has a fitted shower over the bath and a heated towel rail. This lovely house retains many original features but is also fully kitted out with superfast unlimited WiFi and USB charger points!
